Interested in Cub Scouts? 3 Things to Get You Started

1. How old (or young) can a boy or girl be to join Cub Scouts?

Cub Scouting is for boys and girls kindergarten through fifth grade, or 5 to 10 years of age. Scouts who are older than 10, or who have completed the fifth grade, can join Scouts BSA or a Venturing program.

2. When does the Scouting season begin?

Cub Scouting is a year-round program. We kick off the Pack each year in September and although we do not have Pack meetings in the summer months, the Pack participates in summer events such as scout camp and local sporting events.

3. How do I get my child involved in Scouting?
